Alternatives to Domestic Agression
ADA is a program that specializes in working with men to stop their use of abuse or battering. The purpose of ADA is to end domestic violence and abuse in our community.
Asian and Pacific Islander Institute on Domestic Violence
The Asian and Pacific Islander Institute on Domestic Violence is a national coalition of domestic violence experts, shelter workers, health educators, and policy activists working to eliminate domestic violence in Asian communities by building supportive networks, increasing awareness and prevention of domestic violence, identifying and expanding resources, and informing and promoting research and policy.
Batterer Intervention Services of Michigan
We will provide a working forum for interaction and information sharing among agencies and individuals concerned with the provision of batterer intervention services in Michigan.
The Center for the Prevention of Sexual and Domestic Violence
The Center for the Prevention of Sexual and Domestic Violence is an interreligious educational resource established to address issues of sexual and domestic violence. The site provides information about the Center's training seminars and workshops, a bookstore, and an information clearinghouse-where visitors can request specific publications or other materials regarding religion and abuse.
Children, Youth and Family Consortium
The Children, Youth, and Family Consortium was established during the Fall of 1991 to bring together the varied competencies of the University of Minnesota and the vital resources of Minnesota's communities to enhance the ability of individuals and organizations to address critical health, education, and social policy concerns in ways that improve the well-being of Minnesota children, youth, and families.
Family Violence and Sexual Assault Institute
The mission of the Family Violence and Sexual Assault Institute is to improve the quality of life for individuals on an international level by sharing and disseminating vital information, improving networking among professionals, and assisting with program evaluation, consultation, and training that promotes violence-free living.

The Family Violence Prevention Fund works to end domestic violence and help women and children whose lives are devastated by abuse, because every person has the right to live in a home free of violence.

The Millennium: Ending Domestic Violence web site is a follow up to the Next Millennium Conference: Ending Domestic Violence that took place August 29-September 1 in Illinois. The web site contains a detailed calendar of events, announcements, history of the domestic violence movement, news articles, resources, and more.
MINCAVA
Mincava.umn.edu is an electronic clearinghouse that provides a wealth of information on a wide variety of violence issues, including workplace violence, youth violence, stalking, and hate crimes. Additionally, the site provides resources for educators, health care professionals, criminal justice workers, and social service providers. Archived conference and grant information is also available at mincava.umn.edu.
National Association of Social Workers
The National Association of Social Workers, 155,000 members strong, works to enhance the professional growth and development of its members, to create and maintain professional standards, and to advance sound social policies. The online arm of the association, naswdc.org, provides the latest news, publications, and conference information. In addition, the site's advocacy arm provides a forum for social workers to lobby Congress, state legislatures, and all levels of government.
National Latino Alliance for the Elimination of Domestic Violence (Alianza)
The National Latino Alliance for the Elimination of Domestic Violence (Alianza) is a group of nationally recognized Latina and Latino advocates, community activists, practitioners, researchers, and survivors of domestic violence working together to promote understanding, sustain dialogue, and generate solutions to move toward the elimination of domestic violence affecting Latino communities, with an understanding of the sacredness of all relations and communities.
