Ms. Joyce N. Thomas is the president and co-founder of the Center for Child Protection and Family Support in Washington, DC. Ms. Thomas is also the Director of the People of Color Leadership Institute, as well as the Director of the Domestic Violence/Child Abuse and Neglect Project, the Domestic Violence and Welfare Reform Project, and the Children Who Witness Violence Program. Ms. Thomas holds a RN from Merritt College; a BS from Holy Names College; an MPH from the University of California, Berkley; and a PNP from Temple University's School of Medicine.
