A Call To Men

Mr. Bunch will serve as a panelist and presenter during the plenary-panel discussion entitled "Community Mobilization Models," which is scheduled for the morning of Tuesday, March 20, 2007 . Ted Bunch is recognized both nationally and internationally for his expertise in organizing and educating men in the effort to end violence against women. He is the director of the largest program for offenders of domestic violence in America . He is a recognized trainer, lecturer and consultant on male accountability. Mr. Bunch's is an appointed advisory board member to the New York State Integrated Domestic Violence Court, a member of the New York State Governor's Task Force on Commercial Sexual Exploitation and a founding member of the New York City Batterer Task Force. He is co-creator of the New York Model for Batterer Programs and is dedicated to strengthening community accountability to end all forms of violence against women. Mr. Bunch has trained at colleges and universities throughout the United States : In addition, he has appeared on many television and radio programs. He has traveled abroad speaking in places like Israel and Puerto Rico as well as being an invited guest presenter for the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women. In addition, Mr. Bunch co-produced and co-directed A Call to Men's new, sought after DVD titled "Breaking Out of the Man Box" . He is also in the process of completing his book, It Takes Two Hands to Clap , which is a parenting guide for non-custodial fathers.
