Serious and Violent Offender Reentry Initiative
 This Web site contains information on the Serious and Violent Offender Reentry Initiative, which was developed by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs (OJP), in conjunction with federal partners. The Reentry Initiative is a comprehensive effort that addresses both juvenile and adult populations of serious, high-risk offenders. It provides funding to develop, implement, enhance, and evaluate reentry strategies that will ensure the safety of the community and the reduction of serious, violent crime.

360 Degrees
This interactive Web site aims to challenge perceptions about who is in prison today and why. The site also intends to generate ideas about how to reduce crime and strengthen our communities without continuing the current unprecedented rate of incarceration.

Centerforce
Centeforce is a non-profit organization predominantly operated by either ex-prisoners or those whose family members have been incarcerated. Through its annual conferences and through direct consultation with departments of health, community-based agencies and correctional facilities, Centerforce works to strengthen individuals and families affected by incarceration through education and support.

Family and Corrections Network  
The mission of Family and Corrections Network (FCN) is to uphold families of prisoners as valued resources to themselves and their communities in order that the criminal justice system, other institutions and society become supportive of family empowerment, integrity, and self-determination. The organization carries out its mission through publishing, sponsoring conferences, connecting with other agencies, presentations, and consultation. Its website offers a national directory of programs that serve the families of incarcerated adults.

OJJDP National training and Technical Assistance Center
The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) National training and Technical Assistance Center (NTTAC) supports the Juvenile Justice Prevention Act in a national effort to reduce youth crime and improve the juvenile justice system. Reentry National Media Outreach Campaign
 The Reentry National Media Outreach Campaign provides media resources to support the work of community and faith-based organizations. The purpose of this support is to  facilitate community discussion and decision making about solution-based reentry programs. The campaign seeks to expand public awareness and work in partnership with local organizations and initiatives to foster public safety and support healthy communities.

The Urban Institute
To fill the gap in knowledge about the pathways of successful reintegration, the social and fiscal costs of current policies, and the impact of removal, sentencing, and reentry on individuals, families, and communities, and to advance policies and innovations that reflect solid research, the Urban Institute has inaugurated a portfolio of reentry policy research. This site includes a number of general publications and studies of reentry in specific states (e.g., Illinois, Ohio, and Texas).

Women's Prison Association
The Women's Prison Association is the nation's oldest service and advocacy organization committed to helping women with criminal justice histories see new possibilities for themselves and their families. WPA's Reentry Services include a full array of prison, jail, and community-based assistance aimed at helping women become full participants in community life following incarceration or other criminal justice involvement. Services include: education, training, case management, and targeted assistance, and are offered both at WPA's downtown Brooklyn offices, and at the New York City jail and in several prisons for women.
